DSGM physiotherapist post-graduate course

Dévény method has been integrated by the university as a specialization course. Since 1994 DSGM physiotherapist courses have been held at the physiotherapy department of Semmelweis Medical University College for Health.
DSGM physiotherapist course is open for physiotherapists with minimum two years of experience. It takes 3 times 6 months and requires the final state exam certificate as well as the completion of a thesis. Since practical training necessitates individual sessions, maximum 20 or 25 post-graduate students can be admitted a year. Between 1994 and 2003 there were 5 courses completed, with approximately a 100 DSGM specialist graduates, who have been using SMT treatment nation wide ever since.
Apart from special subjects, students will take basic medical studies in anatomy, neurology, orthopedics, etc. with a wholly new approach. Also analitical gymnastics form an indispensible part of their practical studies. AG provides an individual way of working with the body, a practical basis for our method, without which the actual application of DSGM would be impossible.

Practical courses are held by DSGM specialists with 15-20 years of experience.
